Faith Formation
To fulfill this obligation of our baptism we must have a firm conviction of our faith.
“Those who sincerely accept the Good News, through the power of this acceptance and of shared faith, therefore gather together in Jesus’ name in order to seek together the Kingdom, build it up and live it. They make up a community which is in its turn evangelizing.” (Taken from the Catechetical Documents, #13 page 161)

ALPHA
The Alpha course is an evangelistic course which introduces the basics of the Christian Faith. This anointed program has spread across the world and has been taught on every continent. It is no exaggeration to say, that it has been one of the most successful evangelistic programs in the world to date, bringing Christian communities together and drawing new converts to the faith.
The Alpha Course is beginning Tuesday, October 4th at 6:30 pm in the Church Hall at St. Francis Xavier, every Tuesday Evening for the next 11 weeks. Alpha begins with a supper (meals are supplied-you just have to eat). After the meal is a brief time of worship, a video, and sharing.
